This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Routined app, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using Routined, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Definitions

  • Application: Routined, developed by DropDev AB
  • Company: DropDev AB ("we", "us", "our")
  • Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual
  • Usage Data: Automatically collected data (e.g., screen views, time spent)
  • Device: Any device that can access the Service
  • You: The individual using the Service, either as a caregiver or child (under supervision)

Types of Data Collected

Account Data

To use Routined, users create caregiver and child profiles. Information such as name, language, profile image, routines, and progress are stored securely in our backend (Firebase).

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data through PostHog to improve app performance, analyze behavior, and fix bugs. This includes screen events, crashes, and basic interaction flows. No sensitive personal identifiers are stored in analytics.

Use of Data

  • To provide the core functionality of the app (e.g., routines, notifications, progress tracking)
  • To store and sync user settings and profile data across devices
  • To monitor and analyze usage via PostHog (crash tracking, UI flows)
  • To improve app performance and plan future features

Children's Privacy

Children's data is only used in the context of the caregiver account and never shared externally. Routined does not collect or process data directly from children without consent. All child accounts are created and managed by a caregiver.

Data Retention

We store user data as long as the account is active. Upon deletion of the account, all associated caregiver and child profile data is removed from our systems within a reasonable period.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules to protect account data.
