Dad and kids
Time together with dad is hard to grasp: it does not show up in the schedule the way meals and sleep do. The visual support below shows when the moment comes and how long it lasts, so a child can relax into it.

About this visual support
Time with dad cannot be weighed or measured, and that is exactly why it is easy to overlook in a day plan full of meals, sleep and pick-ups. Yet it is often the moment a child asks about most, and when the answer is always soon, the wait feels long.
With visual support, the togetherness gets a visible frame. A picture showing that dad and the kids will do something together, and roughly how long, lets your child relax into the moment instead of wondering when it will end. The frame also makes it easier to round things off without protest, because the ending does not arrive as a surprise.
One concrete tip: place a picture of what you will do beside a simple marker for how long, for example after dinner until it is time to brush teeth. Let your child help choose the activity on the picture, so the moment becomes their own. In the Routined app you can add the shared time as its own step between the other routines of the day, and you try it free for fourteen days.
