School prep
Thinking ahead to tomorrow takes planning many children have not yet grown into. The visual support below lays out the evening pack-up, so a finished backpack can wait by the door when the alarm goes off.

About this visual support
The evening before a school day is often when the small forgotten things are decided: the pencil that needs sharpening, the gym clothes still in the wash, the homework that never came out of the bag. For a child with uneven executive function, that is unreasonably much to hold together inside the head, especially when evening fatigue has already moved in.
A visual schedule pulls the evening packing out of the head and into a visible row. One card for the timetable, one for the pencil case, one for the snack box, one for the PE bag, one for outdoor clothes by the door. Your child can follow the row alone, and you do not have to remind them of every detail. A useful tip is to start with the timetable card, so any special day — field trip, swimming, school photo — shapes what actually goes into the bag that evening.
Once the evening flow is steady, the Routined app lets the same steps reappear every night, so the backpack is ready long before bedtime arrives.
