Morning schedule
The morning holds many steps in a row, and a visible order reduces the nagging and keeps any step from being skipped. A picture lets the child follow the morning themselves, step by step. See how the support works below.

About this visual support
The morning is, for many families, the hardest part of the day. In a short time a long row of things has to happen: wake up, eat, get dressed, brush teeth, pack the bag and get out, often with time pressure and tiredness making everything heavier. For a child it easily becomes one big mess of instructions, and for the adult a stream of reminders.
Visual support makes the morning clear by laying the steps out in a visible sequence. When the child can see the whole order and what comes next, you do not have to repeat each step, and the child gets a sense of being on top of it themselves. That reduces both the nagging and the stress, and keeps anything important from being skipped in the rush.
A tip: let the child move or check off each picture when the step is done, so progress shows and it is clear how much is left. Watching the queue shrink is motivating. In the Routined app you can build the whole morning schedule once and then use it every day, so the order stays the same and the morning calmer.
