Weekday evening
Between pick-up and lights out there are only a couple of hours, and everything important has to fit inside them. The evening pictures below set the steps in a fixed order, so you are not negotiating each one when the day is already spent.

About this visual support
The evening is the narrowest window of the day. Four or five things have to happen inside a couple of hours, and they land exactly when children and adults alike have the least left to give. What looks like a simple list on paper turns into the part of the day where the least can go wrong before everything tips.
A visible evening order removes much of the friction. Your child does not have to ask what comes next, and you do not have to answer ten times. Put the row on the fridge or in the hallway where you pass anyway, and keep the same sequence all week so the evening is recognisable from the front door onwards. What usually helps most is placing something your child enjoys in the middle of the row, a stretch with a book or a game after dinner but before the shower, so the evening is not only a staircase down towards bedtime. Expect the last steps to move slower than the first ones.
In the Routined app the whole weekday evening can sit as one routine with times and check-off, and you can try it for fourteen days at no cost.
